For the annual fee of £20 (for senior members) you will get access to all of the following:

• A different route every Sunday to explore the local countryside.

• We like our food, so we can show you where the best cafes are.

• If you are relatively new to cycling there is lots of advice available.

• The opportunity to purchase Bolton Clarion club kit.

• A quarterly Newsletter with events and reports from the club.

• Access to our widely used club Facebook page.

• Reliability rides: – 100k, 150k & 200k. its all about completing the route.

• The annual bit of fun (and lung busting) Bolton Clarion Hill-Climb. Competition - you even get an engraved trophy to hold for one year if you win.  

• The opportunity to ride with other members on organised cycling weekends or, for the more adventurous, longer tours somewhere in Europe.

• The opportunity to join other members who take part in cycling competitions: Time trials, Cyclocross, Road races.

• Quarterly Club nights giving members the chance to get together in a relaxed environment to chat over a drink. 

• Christmas meal at a local pub, preceded by the Grande Downhill Challenge – A bit of fun that requires no effort but everyone enjoys participating.

• The membership fee also includes membership of the National Clarion Cycling Club who publish a magazine (Boots & Spurs) twice per year and organise regional and national events catering for both social and cycling activities, such as Easter and autumn meets.

• Being a member of National Clarion also includes third party insurance subject to their terms and conditions.

• Last, but most definitely not least, exposure to a host of like-minded individuals who will invariably quickly become your friends.
