NLTTA 10 MILE TT

NLTTA combined clubs opening 10 mile time trial: why must there always be lots of wind? 4 riders from Bolton Clarion, our best turnout in several years. No roadworks this event, and no traffic hold ups. I got in just under the 30 minute mark, so well pleased: if I was younger, thinner and fitter.....who knows.

Right now becoming younger seems like the easy bit. Good efforts from David Hardman and Mike Leeming each riding a time trial for the first time. Next time out they'll be much faster. The elder statesmen Tony Bowles put in a good ride as ever, well ahead of his age standard. Report by David Bisset
